Tawa Ajisefinni, born on March 7, 1982, in Ibadan, Nigeria, is a prominent Yoruba actress and movie producer renowned for her captivating performances in Nollywood. She is the youngest of four children and hails from Osun State. Tawa's passion for acting ignited during her secondary school years, leading her to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts from the University of Ibadan and further honed her skills at the Ojopagogo Film School, completing her studies in 2006. Before gaining fame, she served as a personal assistant to Nollywood actress Funke Akindele, which provided her with valuable industry experience. Tawa's breakthrough came with her roles in popular Yoruba films such as Okun Ife Yi, Opin Ireti, and Edaa Bisola.
