Saheed Apanpa
Saheed Apanpa (nickname: Pizzle) is a Nollywood director, producer, and occasional actor. After spending about two decades in the USA, he returned to Nigeria in 2009, bringing fresh skills from his film education abroad . He is the founder of Apanpa Pictures Media (based in Surulere, Lagos), a production company responsible for over 100 films under his direction or production. Apanpa has directed more than 80 films and produced around 15. His notable directorial works include “Homeless Home,” “Dagger,” “Devil’s Orchard,” “Twist,” “No Man’s Land,” “Unconventional,” and “Jumbled” (directed with Airebamen Irene) . For example, Unconventional (2021) explores blind-date romance in a contemporary setting, while Jumbled (2019) delves into betrayal within modern relationships. He's recognized as a Director’s Guild of Nigeria member and was honored with a Special Recognition Award at the SABISTATION Business Owners Awards in 2023 for his entrepreneurial and cinematic contributions
