Akinlola Davies

Akinola Davies Jr. is a British-Nigerian filmmaker, writer, and artist known for his multifaceted storytelling that explores themes of race, identity, and community through both narrative and experimental films. Born in London and raised in Lagos, he gained international acclaim for his short film Lizard, which won the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival in 2021 and was nominated for a BAFTA.
