Chigozie Atuanya

Chigozie Zeal Atuanya, born on September 13, 1980, in Aba, Abia State, is a prominent Nigerian actor, producer, and entrepreneur. He hails from Agu-Ukwu Nri in Anambra State and is renowned for his dedication to promoting Igbo culture through film. Atuanya began his acting career in 1998 with the film King Jaja of Opobo. He has since featured in numerous Nollywood productions. In addition to acting, Atuanya is a producer and director. His film Chetanna, an Igbo-language drama, won the Best Indigenous Film award at the 2014 Golden Icons Academy Movie Awards (GIAMA) in Houston. The film also made history as the first Igbo-language movie to be premiered in the United States .
